Hello everyone! We’re excited to announce that the original group of developers who worked to create and maintain the Jadro WordPress theme have entrusted its future to our team at CodeinWP.
At the start of 2023, community members from Nepal were planning to do something great that could contribute to the global WordPress community. After a series of talks and discussions, they decided to develop a FSE theme.
While making decisions, they agreed on the following:
- The theme should be completely free and 100% dedicated to the community.
- It should be very simple to use.
- We should develop it in such a way that anyone can learn and reuse it.
- Development should be open in GitHub and anyone who is interested can contribute.
On May 27th, on the 20th WordPress anniversary, a powerful full-site editing theme named Jadro was released. Later in the year, the creators entrusted the theme to CodeinWP, a WordPress hub for developers.
How did they choose us? Well, we’ve been passionate about all things WordPress for quite some time. We love creating, sharing, and discussing various matters related to our favorite website platform, and we’ve been running our publication for nearly 10 years at this point.We’ve published more than 800 tutorials, reviews, comparison posts, and other resources so far – and we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon! Plus our flagship brand – Themeisle – has developed some of the most successful WordPress themes in the entire market. Some of you might recognize us from themes like Neve and Raft.
Now, with Jadro joining our lineup, we’re committed to ensuring it stays fresh 🌿, user-friendly 🙌, and maintained ⚙️. And yes, it’s staying free 💸.
